Of all the places I have visited Italy is by far my favourite, followed by glorious Greece.I have a hankering to visit New York,it seems to have everything a large bustling city should have.Sicily also appeals as a holiday destination in the future - hstory, beautiful beaches and of course Mt.Etna

My favourite destinations are Mediterranean countries and the Pacific Islands. My favourite country: Italy!

beautifulbird: My favourite holiday place is Dubai and India

Jesus Freak says: I loved the holiday I had last year at the Gold Coast.  It wasn't too hot; the beaches weren't too crowded and the fun parks were... FUN! I also enjoyed going to New Caledonia when I was at high school so I could practise my French and eat lots of yummy French & Asian cuisine and I loved my trip to U.S.A where I spent some time in New Orleans and I travelled up to Florida by car through 3 other states including Missippi, Alabama and Atlanta.  I am hoping to go to Fiji this year so I am sure that it will be added to my favourites too!

My favourite holiday destination would have to be Hawaii - especially attractive at the end of a long wet wet wet winter.

Favourite RecipesFavourite RecipesUgahBugah:   I think the people you go with make the holiday! If the country is great but the company you keep are sour pusses, man drop em like a sack of potatoes. In saying that, I would love to go to Vegas Baby!!!

Wonder Woman loves anywhere the ocean is warm, the palms sway in a slight breeze, the sun shines, the days lazily pass by and the cocktails are freshly made and delivered straight to your poolside lounger. Bliss!

Rightdigit:I like Kodaikanal, a hillstation in southern India. What a beautiful place it is.-Xtraright.

So many places, so little time, so little money!! Overseas - love visiting the UK whenever I have had the chance. And Paris last year actually DID live up to all the fantasies - the beautiful buildings, the view of the Eiffel Tower illuminated by the banks of the Seine, the cafes, the gorgeous looking people. But in NZ I love the South Island, driving those wide empty roads, amazing mountains, bush, coast. And Mt Maunganui is a fave North Island destination.

Bed. Beach. Bar. Bliss.

catatonic-chataholic: my very own house with a HUGE pile of books, the phone off, a 'Knock and Die' sign on the front door and NO CHILDREN.  Bliss.  Pure bliss  :)

I always dream to have a holiday on one of the south Pacific islands. Blue sky & sea, white sand beach, green palm trees. Wonderful world.

Newweb2: my favourite holiday destination would be Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia if you love to shop, eat and sight see this is the place.

My favourite holiday destination is one where I am provided with every possible luxury, OK.

Magpie Girl's favourite places in the world have stunning mountain  scenery and beautiful clear fresh air - even better if it is somewhere like the Swiss Alps and the jingle of cow bells breaks the silence.

Bhmi:- My favourite destination is my hometown, where I born and brought up. I love to goback to India.

Little Lady:  My favourite holiday places are the Philippines, USA, Australia and.....would like to go to Holland (even if it is just in my dream :)

My favourite holiday destination is Swissland.

Jayebooklady: likes to go to Hinehopu on the far shore of Lake Rotoiti near Rotorua. You can go into the city if you want to or just sit by the Lake and read

Yes I would love to go to KL again (without a 3 yr old and stroller tagging along) those wide roads, 100's of motorbikes at intersections waiting to zoom off and cracked concrete footpaths not child friendly but those markets and malls were great for shopping.

Thursday girl says that an interesting place to visit on a nice sunny day and is only 20 minutes ferry ride from Gulf Harbour is a little island called Tiritiri Matangi. It is an open sanctuary for a lot of native New Zealand birds such as Bellbird, Saddleback, Kokako, North Island Robin, Kiwi, Stitchbird and more. It is managed by DOC and dedicated volunteers. Going on a guided walk is well worthwhile and interesting. Enjoy lunch by the lighthouse and visitors/shop centre, but watch out for the cheeky Takahe as they would like some of your lunch too. Then finish the day off with a swim at Hobbs Beach before returning to the mainland on the ferry. The ferry also leaves from Auckland's CBD.
